We’re on mission!
Starting June 2016, a special committee was formed by Council to work with District over the next several months, to form a 3-5 year vision for Redeemer. This process will be shared with Council and the Congregation as the vision is being worked through.
We want to hear from you!
Ways to connect and engage this process:
- Minutes from this Committee will be shared on this webpage; take time to read and reflect
- Explore the “VisionTable” in the Narthex
- Share your thoughts and dreams in the “VisionBox”; your feedback is important!
- Connect with Eric Goser or Pastor Nathan, who’ll bring your ideas to the Committee
Latest Vision Committee Update (Oct 2016)
Since June 2016, the Committee has met four times with Stuart Brasse from District who helped guide the process, as well as several times on our own to brainstorm, refine, and rework ideas into a workable plan for Redeemer to focus on during the next 3-5 years. Attached above is the final report the Vision Committee humbly submitted for consideration to Council and Voter’s Assembly with regards to a 3-5 year plan.
We Want to Hear from You!
We want to know what’s important to you as Redeemer moves toward the future. Feel free to provide feedback in the VisionBox or email them to church (Redeemer@fidnet.com). We kindly ask you provide your name and number as follow-up, if clarification is needed.
“Vision is essential to a church. However, unlike the values, mission, and purpose, the vision is more subject to change. It is dynamic, not static. Over time, the vision must be renewed, adapted, and adjusted to the cultural context in which the congregation lives.” (Aubrey Malphurs)
